**Location:** Saraya Aqaba, Aqaba, Jordan

**Position Overview:**
Saraya Aqaba is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of our premier resort. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Leadership and Management:**

  • Provide strong leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing management team and staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
2. **Operational Excellence:**

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and profitability of the resort.
  • Implement and maintain operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
3. **Guest Experience:**

  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Address guest feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
4. **Sales and Marketing:**

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, travel agents, and local businesses to promote the resort.
5. **Strategic Planning:**

  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
6. **Community Engagement:**

  • Represent Saraya Aqaba in the local community and industry events, promoting the resort and building positive relationships.
  • Engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives that align with the resort’s values and mission.
**Qualifications:**


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial targets and driving operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
